Die International Clan Macfarlane Society wird beim Peine Highland Gathering in Peine, Deutschland, ein Clan MacFarlane Hospitality Tent veranstalten. Gastgeber des Zeltes sind Jack und Sylvia Knox, Beauftragte für Deutschland. Kommt zu uns für ein Wochenende voller Clan-Gemeinschaft und Spaß!

ABOUT THE PEINE HIGHLAND GATHERING

The Gathering has been taking place since 1998, making it the “oldest” event of its kind in Germany. The event is organized and carried out by a group of around 50 members of the working group Highland Gathering of the Scottish Culture Club Peine eV.

Due to the high demands on professionalism, it is enjoying ever-increasing popularity. The “Peine International Pipe Band Championships” have also been part of this for many years. Everything is coordinated by Helmut Horneffer, who is also responsible for organizing the Pipe Band Competition. The Peine Highland Gathering is organized in successful cooperation with PeineMarketing .

Our big festival is international music competition only – offering a taste of Scottish culture for the whole family with the popular Highland Games, dance and song performances, food and drink and shopping.

ÜBER DAS PEINE HIGHLAND GATHERING

Das Gathering findet seit 1998 statt und ist somit die „älteste“ Veranstaltung dieser Art in Deutschland. Das Event wird von einem Stamm von ca. 50 Mitstreitern der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Highland Gathering des Scottish Culture Club Peine e.V. organisiert und durchgeführt.

Wegen der hohen Ansprüche an die Professionalität erfreut es sich immer größer werdender Beliebtheit. Seit vielen Jahren gehören auch die „Peine International Pipe Band Championships“ dazu. Koordiniert wird alles von Helmut Horneffer, der auch für die Organisation der Pipe Band Competition zuständig ist. Das Peine Highland Gathering wird in erfolgreicher Zusammenarbeit mit PeineMarketing veranstaltet.

Unser großes Fest ist nur internationaler Musikwettbewerb – es bietet der ganzen Familie mit den beliebten Highland Games, Tanz- und Gesangsvorführungen, Speis und Trank und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten einen Einblick in die schottische Kultur.
